Modern jeans for the modern man

Our new jeans collection were introduced after one of our customers requested to have a pair of made to measure jeans made to fit him perfectly. He could never find jeans to fit him properly or that looked smart enough for that perfect balance of inbetween suit smart and the super casual, slghtly faded jeans and T-shirt combination. So, Larry decided to ask to have a pair of ‘smart’ jeans made just for him.

I’d never made a pair of made to measure jeans before. I told him that I’d never want to attempt to make anything if I wasn’t sure how they would turn out. He was pretty keen, which in turn made me curious as to how they would work. I agreed to trying a try a test pair and see where it went…

The first pair came out a peculiar shape and far too skinny, to which he responded: ‘These are a pair for 20 year old Larry. We need 60 year old Larry.’ I said- ‘You’ve got it!’. Back to the drawing board.

Four weeks later the next pair arrived and they were fantastic! He loved them. His response were that they were ”Superbly comfortable, flattering, lightweight and understated and for jeans, not ‘overly denim.’” Not only that but people have commented on how nice they look since he’s been wearing them.

I was also so pleased with them that I gave them to Larry as a gift. Afterall, he inspired our new collection to form part of our new smart/casual offering. We now have three shades of denim; mid blue, dark blue and electric blue and are now our best selling piece of clothing.
