“For his 50th birthday, my husband’s friends all chipped in to buy him a bespoke suit – Pete loves suits but had never had one tailored especially for him. The suit was to be a surprise and when I contacted Alexandra by email, she was enthusiastic about the idea. The day of the first fitting, I brought Pete up to Alexandra’s showroom, which luckily is discreetly marked, so he had no idea where I was taking him. When we arrived, Alexandra had a room set aside with champagne and sweets, so it felt like a celebration. She did not rush us through choosing the fabrics or taking measurements, and we stayed on and chatted with her afterwards – she is a lovely, friendly lady. The suit was completed on time so that Pete could wear it with pride to his 50th birthday party – it was a big hit! Alex produced an amazing 3 piece midnight blue tuxedo for me which looked amazing. I experienced so many compliments on the day. The suit itself was everything I had wished for and the quality was second to none.
I was looking for something slightly different but nothing outrageously bold or flashy. I was also looking for my groomsmen/usher to wear black tuxedo’s so the difference in suits would strike a right balance and compliment my suit. I had a rather large party (10) and all the suits were fantastic. The service went well beyond expectations when on the eve of the wedding Denis urgently arranged alterations to some of my groomsmen suits and even met half way between locations to deliver. This certainly saved the day for 3 of the chaps.
